Dashboard Features

1. Segment Analysis

The Segment Analysis tab allows users to break down employee attrition data by various parameters, such as department, job role, salary slab, tenure, gender, age group, education, and marital status.

  • Users can drill into individual departments to see which teams experience the highest turnover.
  • Cross-filtering functionality ensures users can select any attribute and instantly see how other parameters adjust. For example, selecting a specific department will show the breakdown of gender, salary levels, and job roles within that department.

2. Key Influencer Metrics

This tab reveals the top factors influencing employee turnover through Power BI’s Key Influencers visual. It automatically identifies and ranks the key factors driving attrition based on the dataset.

  • Users can identify top contributors like salary, years of service, or proximity to the office, enabling data-driven retention strategies.
  • This tab provides a comprehensive overview of what is truly impacting attrition, allowing HR leaders to prioritize interventions.

3. Decomposition Tree Analysis
The Decomposition Tree tab breaks down attrition into smaller, more manageable components, providing a multi-level view of the factors driving turnover.

  • The tree dynamically uncovers the key segments that influence attrition rates, allowing users to drill down and explore specific paths (e.g., which combinations of factors like low salary and long tenure are associated with higher attrition).
  • It helps users understand the interactions between different factors and how they collectively impact attrition, offering more refined insights.

Practical Use Cases
